Coffee A.I.D. is an acronym for “Coffee in Assistance for Indigenous Development”. It started out as a volunteer program designed to uplift the livelihood of indigenous coffee farmers by increasing their production opportunities and promoting fair trade. The Coffee from Cordillera, home for the famous and rare coffee… “Kape Musang”, proudly advocates the love for our own premium coffee. Coffee A.I.D. encourages private individuals, small companies, and welfare organizations to invest a little amount each month to buy coffee in advance to aid our native coffee growers have their regular income. Presently, Coffee A.I.D. is a non-government organization that continues to improve lives and open doors for brighter opportunities.

In relation to this, an event… “Coffee and Tea Festival”, was held in SM Marikina at the ground level. It runs from July 22-24, 2011. The event also includes Coffee Arts Photo Exhibit, Latte Art & Specialty Drinks Demonstration, Barista Competition and Free Taste of  Hot Coffee. Other establishments who participated aside from Coffee A.I. D. are El Kapitan, Mister Donut, and Kultura.

Save our indigenous heritage and the livelihood of the coffee farmers in the Cordillera and be a part of the coffee story volunteer with Coffee A.I.D.!
